OK so you've probably noticed by now that many people like to change names for certain holidays (Halloween at the moment but Thanksgiving, Xmas, Easter etc too I'm sure)
Would it be a possible enhancement to allow us to change username rather than having to create a new account?
From experience on forums, I know that this can lead to some people abusing the system and causing confusion, but this can usually be overcome by keeping a log on their profile page of previous usernames.
As a further request, if the original username could be preserved so others can't "steal" it, that would be even better. Then after the holiday is over, we could go back to the original name.

I agree, I love to dress up during the holidays, but I don't want to make up a seperate account each time.. not to mention trying to remember what email addy goes with what name, if I had that many emails anyway.
Also for those that care abouth their point total, it wouldn't have to start over again for each name. Just a thought!! |
