At InteracTrivia, our goal is simple - to make great software. We will never water down our product lineup just to bring more products to market, choosing to focus on our core product and continually improve it.

InteracTrivia is a tiered application combining traditional web technologies with hardware-specific clients to deliver an exciting, fast-paced and highly scalable interactive trivia game.

InteracTrivia uses a robust database backend server for managing user and game information and serving data to our central game server and web site. Our dedicated game server acts as a central command system for account access, channel tracking and selection and command processing across our entire game play network.

Channel servers host individual games and have their own set of access guidelines and question database. Channel servers allow users to play themed games (Sports, Entertainment, Movies, Television, etc.) and allow more users to enjoy InteracTrivia simultaneously. Most channels are hosted by dedicated InteracTrivia channel servers - although some are hosted by licensed third-party companies. By distributing our network system in this fashion, there is no limit to the amount of simultaneous players able to participate in the InteracTrivia experience. As network needs increase, additional channel servers can be deployed to handle the additional load.

InteracTrivia clients are installed on your computer, laptop, Pocket PC or other internet-connected device and allow the full game play experience from anywhere. Users can also play directly in their web browser and receive the full game experience. Our website allows users to access the latest client software and view/update their account information and game play statistics.

InteracTrivia was born three years ago as the brainchild of our founder, who quickly grew tired of evaporating his paycheck just to play a few rounds of bar trivia. Combining web technologies, Macromedia Flash programming and Microsoft's .NET programming framework for the PC and other devices - InteracTrivia was created to be the most feature-rich and fun-to-play online trivia game ever made.

Over these past years, we have continued to improve our game and server software and add to our database of questions. Currently, we offer more than 100,000 trivia questions covering a multitude of topics.
